Substance before speed
We would rather identify a structural issue early than create false certainty late in a placement.
About Titanium
Titanium Insurance SPC was established to support complex commercial obligations through a focused surety proposition and carefully controlled international partnerships.
View regulatory informationTitanium Insurance SPC holds a Class B(iii) insurer licence granted by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) under the Insurance Act, 2010, subject to CIMA's standard licensing conditions.
Our purpose
Titanium exists to help brokers, contractors, principals and insurance partners solve credible surety needs without blurring underwriting and regulatory boundaries.
We focus on the commercial reality behind the document: the applicant’s ability to perform, the beneficiary’s legitimate protection, the wording that defines a call and the structure that makes participation lawful.
Our international model is relationship-led and selective. It is designed to work with local insurers, reinsurers, brokers and professional advisers who value transparent risk information and clear responsibilities.
Operating principles
We would rather identify a structural issue early than create false certainty late in a placement.
Risk appetite, issuer authority, distribution and reinsurance permissions are considered separately and documented.
The demand trigger, expiry, reduction, governing law and remedies are core credit terms—not administrative detail.
Local insurers and capacity providers need transparent information, agreed control and a structure that works under stress.
Governance & control
Titanium’s governance framework is intended to keep underwriting, regulatory compliance, capital, reinsurance, claims and financial control connected. Business is considered within the approved licence scope and any conditions or limits applicable to the relevant programme or portfolio.
Transactions are subject to counterparty due diligence, sanctions and financial-crime controls. Material changes to wording, amount, duration, applicant, beneficiary or placement route require review before agreement.
Public references to partners, capacity or ratings are deliberately limited unless current and approved for disclosure. Credibility comes from accurate statements, not an oversized carrier panel.
Regulatory status
Titanium Insurance SPC holds a Class B(iii) insurer licence granted by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) under the Insurance Act, 2010, subject to CIMA's standard licensing conditions.
The Class B(iii) classification concerns insurance business other than Cayman domestic business and the proportion of related and unrelated business under Cayman law. It does not grant direct authority in another country.
